Positivity can make you, negativity can break you. Life throws up challenging tasks and situations all the time. This has been the situation in past decades and centuries, it is very obvious in the current day and age (with Covid19) and seems inevitable in the future. Who knows what the future challenges to mankind are going to be? There is certainly no value in wondering what the future may hold, nor is there a requirement to dwell on the past, no matter how detrimental or beneficial it has been to your ancestors or families. Whilst most families have had terrible, even critical incidents unfold in their lives the good times should be those which are enjoyed, even celebrated. Being positive about the ‘here and now’ presents a challenge which some people cannot meet due to the heart-break and devastation encountered earlier.
On many occasions, I have seen a person have ten positive thoughts then soon after, have one negative thought. Sadly, this negative thought has blown away completely the positive thoughts, causing anxiety and overall gloom. Ten to one would be great odds if it were the other way round!
