The future is bright... and green in North Queensland

On 20 April 2022 we were privileged to attend the green energy futures forum at The Ville Resort Casino, hosted by Townsville Enterprise.

The agenda was packed full of industry heavyweights, as was the audience, with about 90 industry representatives in attendance. We heard from all levels of government, along with the education and research sector and private sector, who shared their visions and priorities for the green energy industry in North Queensland.

We learned that North Queensland has been identified as one of the best locations worldwide to invest and generate green energy due to the climate, wind and access to water. Giants like Iberdrola and Korea Zinc have already made substantial investments. This is very exciting for us and the whole region.

It was great to have such an event on our doorstep and the opportunity to learn from those directly influencing our future. We must thank townsville enterprise for putting on yet another very professional and valuable event.
