The Queens Hotel has long held a special place in the heart of Ayr—and we were proud to be part of its next chapter.

This iconic North Queensland pub has recently reopened following a major refurbishment that carefully balanced character and comfort. The goal: to breathe new life into a venue rich with history, while keeping the soul of the building intact.
Working closely with the project team, we helped transform the space from the ground up—maintaining the pub’s unique identity while introducing a refreshed interior fitout and modern functionality that ensures it can continue to serve the local community for years to come.
The project was recently featured in the Townsville Bulletin, highlighting the importance of this restoration not just to the building’s owners, but to the wider community who’ve grown up with it.
