“They kept calling for Malcolm over the loudspeaker, and it took a lot of ignored calls and confusion for everyone to figure out Malcolm was actually Martin,” Martin Brooke told us with a laugh. “After ten years, they’re still getting my name wrong!” 

This season's youth Athletics Carnival perfectly showcased Martin Brooke, our Chief Construction Operations Officer, and his remarkable ability to turn any situation into a light-hearted and enjoyable experience. As the event’s dedicated timekeeper, he was at the centre of a humorous mix-up. Despite the repeated calls for “Malcolm,” Martin took it all in stride, laughing and making light of the situation. 

When he’s not making things run smoothly at the office, he’s out turning the local children’s athletics carnival into a well-oiled event. Martin has been known to put in many hours, handle the unpredictability of the event, and always manage to smile through it all. His commitment to giving back and his positive attitude continue to make a significant difference, showing that even a little mix-up can’t overshadow his impact.
